Animals and people need to quickly adapt to ever-changing conditions of their environment. For this reason, they have innate mechanisms which provide flexibility to their behavior. Our lab is interested in understanding how the neuronal circuits mediating these flexible adaptations work. To this end, we use advanced molecular, microscopy, and behavioral analysis methods in the larval zebrafish.
